Amazon.com Product Description

Long the authority on propane camping stoves, Coleman steps up to the plate again with its two-burner PerfectFlow stove. Coleman's PerfectFlow appliances regulate the pressure of the propane to provide a consistent cooking performance without flaring or flickering. This steady fuel stream holds true even in cold weather, high altitudes, or when the fuel is low. This Coleman propane stove sports 2 independently adjustable 10,000 BTU burners. The stove is equipped with two 10,000 BTU burners, with independently adjustable flames that let you boil water on high (in a mere 4-1/2 minutes) while you simmer chili on low. The fuel is long lasting as well: with just a single propane fuel cylinder (sold separately), you can use both burners on high for up to an hour--more than enough time to prepare a weekend's worth of meals. Plus, the stove includes Coleman's Windblock side panels, which not only shields the burners for maximum heat, but also adjusts outward to accommodate larger pot sizes. Propane stoves are perfect for almost any social outdoor activity, including camping, hunting, tailgating, and backyard cookouts. The PerfectFlow stove measures 23.25 by 5.5 by 14.75 inches (W x H x D) when closed and carries a three-year warranty.

About Coleman More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a "no light, no pay" clause--a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked--and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.

In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company's current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won't deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

J. Hammond Said: Propane stove ( Oct. 23rd 2009 )
I have this stove hooked to a "tree" along with my propane lantern and both are working out fine. I like the fact that both burners put out the same amount of heat and I don't have to switch the pans back and forth on the burners. I can just adjust each burner to the heat that I want and cook right on. I would not hesitate to buy another one when I need it.
Tara Ann Ferguson Said: Cooking for 6 anyone?? ( Sep. 27th 2009 )
LOVE LOVE LOVE my new coleman propane stove...took it camping this weekend with a group of 6 and it worked like a dream! i made pancakes and scrambled eggs amongst other things for 6 hungry adults with ease. the stove boils water very quickly and is easy to use especially for me someone who is not mechanically inclined and has never been camping before. i would recommend this to anyone- is it light weight and easy to store and most of all easy to use!
JJAM Said: Perfect for Simple Meals ( Jul. 28th 2009 )
I do not have this exact model of Coleman Stove. Mine is a slightly different version, the only differences between the two is where the gas knobs are and also mine has legs to keep it up about 2 inches. I used this on a 3 day camping trip recently. 2 dinners & 2 breakfasts, 1 new propane tank, and I still could have gotten more use out of the propane tank. I had two large skillets on at the same time, also a large pot and large skillet and no room problems for me for the most part, except that I would have preferred smaller pans. Using this made me miss my family's gas stove back home. Simple and easy to use. I didn't have the instructions, and I had never attached the propane to the line or stove before, but I figured it out in about 5 minutes. I would say this is the perfect size for 3-4 adults or a family of 4. It helps to plan your meals before hand so you know what to cook and when. I cooked mashed taters, corn on the cob, spagehetti and meatballs and rotini (noodles I precooked before hand so all I had to do is warm them up with some water), bacon and eggs, and my other breakfast escapes my brain. All turned out great with this camp stove, and made the rainy camping more enjoyable. I would recommend for for 4 people or less, but not more than 4. Anything higher and I think you would need something else. Also, only 4 *'s because I find that the propane sticks out at such an odd angle. It would be nice to see that improved somehow.

We've had this stove for upwards of 25 years, and it has withstood the test of time, weather, and all kinds of camping conditions. The stove has accompanied us on camping outings in Alaska, Canada's wild lakes (for canoe and kayak camping) and on our average family summer camping vacations. It is lightweight, sturdy and a great way to prepare hot cakes, eggs and coffee in the morning. For larger families, there are of course larger Coleman stoves. But for a family of two to four, this item is perfect.
Don Jr Said: It's a Coleman Propane Stove ( Aug. 17th 2008 )
This stove is lightweight compared to the rest of the line, easy to clean, gets the job done and it's dependable. It's only problem is that the diameter of the burners is too small, you can't use 12" pots, and it doesn't have enough BTU's to boil water fast. Listen, if space is not an issue, get the Coleman 2 Burner Powerpack Stove. It's a couple of dollars more than this stove. It's quite a bit larger than this stove, and it's as nice as cooking on a gas stovetop at home. You can boil tons of water quick, saute calamari or scallops while you're camping if you're so inclined, or make pancakes for a mob of people on your Lodge Reversable Grill/Griddle. There's some trips I use a single burner backpack stove, and then the rest of the time I'm eatin' homefries and cheese omelette's. You could cook chicken marsala with portobello mushrooms and sage on the Powerpack stove. The stove I'm reviewing is a great stove, just not for a family.
